Mice are getting smarter, and the dumb days of catching them with conventional traps or clubbing them are gone. This is especially true if you live in urban areas and are surrounded by cultured mice who spend their days pilfering food from the café at the MoMA or Guggenheim. The smarter mouse requires the smarter trap. Mice spend most of their waking hour watching you, so they know how to work around you. You are “lucky” to catch a glimpse of one at night.
