“Johnny I said get away from those disposable fly traps! If you touch it it’ll get stuck to your finger and I’ll have to take you to the hospital.”
“Aw Mom, I’m just playing with the dead flies.”
“Get away from those flies! They carry disease and they eat feces. You touch them and then touch your mouth and you’ll be rotten sick and I’ll have to take you to the hospital.”
“But Mom, I’m not going to touch my mouth.”
“I don’t care! You’re always touching one orifice or another – your ears mouth nose, eyes. That’s the way disease is spread. Now get over here now.”
“Fine. Stupid flies, can’t even pull off their wings without Mom gettin..”
“I hate flies too Johnny but it’s really gross to touch them. Better leave them alone and let the disposable fly trap work it’s magic.”
“How come they fly to the disposable fly trap?”
“Because it’s sweet like honey and flies like everything sweet, they like everything, but especially sweets.”
“Like me!”
“Yes just like you.”
“Looka me I’m a fly ZZZZZZZZZZZZ.”
“Johnny you stop that or I’ll get a disposable fly trap for you!”
“They doan make ‘em in my size!”
