Protecting Your Own Pets From Sticky Mouse Traps

If you have mice in the house, it’s already a hassle. They get into your food,  they run around in the middle of the night and keep you up, and they pose a health risk. But it can be hard to lay those sticky mouse traps around when you have your own pets, whether cats, dogs, or even that pet hamster. Just because you want to get rid of unwanted rodents doesn’t mean you want your beloved critter to get hurt in the process.

If there’s an obvious hole in the wall where mice are nesting, try to place traps there so they are out of harms way for your pets. They are often more effective if you can fit them into the wall itself. Do everything possible to not place these where your pets can get to them; a dog or cat’s paws can get stuck. Try sticking them up high or in the cupboards where mice may be getting inside.

Never, ever use mouse traps with poison with a pet in the house.  You do not want your furry loved one to ingest it accidentally.

Be safe with your mouse glue traps and you won’t have to worry about Fluffy while you get rid of your pests.
