Bring The Best Mouse Traps to Your Dreams
When I was a little boy, one of my worst nightmares occurred soon after I had seen Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. It involved me wearing an Indiana Jones hat and holding a whip, and I reluctantly entered the dark, deep temple of my own mind.
Wandering through the labyrinthine maze of black galleries I suddenly found myself face to face with a giant rat. A hundred of the best mouse traps would have done nothing to this giant creature. A head taller than me, he had fierce red eyes that glowed; snarling, spitting sharp pointed teeth that gnashed together spewing white spittle, and short mousey arms with grizzled black fur and Tyrannosaurus claws that would scar me if he came too close.
With my whip I lashed at him, but it did hardly anything. I would have loved to smother him with sticky mouse traps, but I had nothing in my hands. Then I awoke, thankfully. Sweat poured off my forehead and I ran upstairs to my parents room where I slept in their bed.
After that, I was always sure when after hearing a rustle in the middle of the night, I would lure the rodents out the next day with sticky mouse traps. I caught quite a few, and thankfully they were never as big as that red-eyed rabid rat monster.
