Warm weather means an insurgence of bugs in and around your home. Just like people are more out and about during the warmer months, so are bugs. So if you’d like to curb their population and keep those pesky creatures at bay, here are a few tips:
-Stinging Insects:
If you want to minimize the presence of potentially harmful stinging insects, you should make sure the caulk and weather stripping are intact on your home so nothing can get in. It’s also a good idea to scan the property of wasps nest and beehives, especially in and around light fixtures.
-Ants and Roaches: Check for leaks under your sinks, as well as outside your home in the drainage areas. Water attracts ants and roaches. Clean up crumbs after you eat and wipe away and syrup or sugar that may have spilled in a cabinet or pantry. Feed pets at specific times instead of leaving their food out for hours, as pet food is a big attractant for ants, roaches and even rodents.
-Flies: Make sure all exterior doors and windows are properly sealed. Windows should have screens in good condition, and doors should be airtight.
If any of these annoying bugs do make it into your home, you can rest assured that Catchmaster traps can stop them in their tracks. Stock on Catchmaster traps today and be prepared in the face of any unwanted pest.
